Fixture

A lovely morning for what turned out to be a fiesty game of rugby against a well drilled Pont side. They started the first half quicker than us spending a lot of time in our half scoring 3 tries in the process. We got back into game in the latter part of the half and, after some good handling in the back line, Leo scored a great try in the corner taking 3 tacklers over the line with him. The second half followed the same course as the first and Pont scored a further 3 tries. Second best all over the park today unfortunately, didn’t compete enough at ruck and Pont put pressure on us at all time. At scrum/lineout they just rushed up and forced us into mistakes, we gave them two tries by spilling the ball on our own try line. Some good individual performances in defeat with Osian playing well at centre with some strong running and Caleb did well when he had the ball on the wing but our Man of the match today was Gethin with some great bursts, strong tackles and good support play & rucking. A disappointing result but heads up and we go again next week.
